Station Details – Visakhapatnam railway station falls on Kolkata – Chennai rail route. Situated close to Bay of Bengal, Visakhapatnam is served by trains of South Eastern Railways. From Vishakhapatnam trains ply to Hyderabad, Chennai, Mumbai, Howrah (Kolkata), New Delhi and several other important places of the country. The Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) bus stand is located close to the railway station, from here bus services are available to various destinations of Andhra Pradesh.
