Railway Infrastructure Development of Indian Railways in Hilly and North Eastern States

There are 26 ongoing projects falling partly/fully in the state of Jammu & Kashmir, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh and North Eastern States. An amount of ` 5946 Crore in 2014-15, ` 6687 Crore in 2015-16 and ` 6531 Crore in 2016-17 has been allotted for these projects falling fully/partly in the States of Jammu & Kashmir, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh and North Eastern States.


Due to continuous efforts and focused approach, following sections have been completed/commissioned since April, 2013 in these states.
