Station Details – Lucknow railway station is situated in famous
Charbagh area of the old city. An important railway head of the Northern
railway, Lucknow
railway station is served by numerous trains from all over the country. The
present station building was built in the year 1926 having domes and minarets
of Saracan design. Built of red brick the building has a frontage of long
verandahs adorned with Mughal arches.
