Pathankot is an important city
of the Indian state of Punjab and connects Jammu and Kashmir with rest of the country. Ideally
located at the meeting point of three states namely Punjab, Himachal Pradesh

railway station is one of the important railway stations of Northern Railways.
The railway station provides connectivity to Jammu Tawi railway, the main
railhead of Jammu and Kashmir .
Some of the important trains which pass through Pathankot are Sealdah - Jammu
Tawi Express, Ahmedabad – Jammu Tawi Express, Himsagar Express and Jhelum
Express. Kangra Queen, a luxurious train operates between Pathankot
and Palampur. The bus stand is located close to the railway station from where buses
ply to various destinations.
