Special trains would be operated to and from Velankanni to clear the extra rush of passengers during the church festival season.
Train no: 05906 will leave Dibrugarh at 7.20pm on September 4 and reach Velankanni at 7pm on September 7. The train will leave Chennai Egmore at 8.30am on September 7. Train no: 05905 will leave Velankanni at 7.45am on September 9, arrive Chennai Egmore at 3.50pm on September 9 and reach arrive Dibrugarh at 9.30am on September 12. The composition of the trains will be 1 AC 2-tier, 1 AC 3-tier, 6 Sleeper Class, 6 General Second Class and 2 luggage-cum-brake van coaches.
The trains will stop at New Tinsukia , Mariani, Dimapur, Diphu, Lumding, Guwahati, Goalpara Town, New Bongaigaon, Kokrajhar, Alipurduar Jn. Hasimara, Dalgoan, New Mal Jn. Siliguri Jn. New Jalpaiguri, Kishanganj, Malda Town, Howrah, Kharagpur Jn. Balasore, Bhadrak, Bhubaneswar, Khurda Road, Visakapatnam, Samalkot, Rajamundri, Vijayawada Jn. Gudur, Chennai Egmore, Tambaram, Chengalpattu, Villupuram, Tirupadaripulliyur, Chidambaram, Mayiladuthurai, Tiruvarur and Nagapattinam.
