Eight superfast weekly trains to Kamakhya
The Railways have decided to run eight superfast weekly special trains between Pune and Kamakhya in Assam to clear the extra rush of passengers. Train number 02511 will leave Pune at 10.45am every Thursday from July 31 to August 21, The train will reach Kamakhya at 3.15pm on Saturday.
From Kamakhya, train number 02512 will leave at 10.45pm every Monday from July 28 to August 18 and reach Pune at 2.45am on Thursday.
The train will halt at Daund, Ahmednagar, Kopergaon, Manmad, Bhusaval, Akola, Badnera, Wardha, Nagpur, Gondia, Durg, Raipur, Bilaspur, Jharsuguda, Rourkela, Chakradharpur, Purulia, Joychandipahar, Asansol, Durgapur, Rampurhat, Malda Town, Kishanganj, New Jalpaiguri, New Coochbehar and New Bongaigaon.
The train will have one AC-2 tier coach, one AC-3 tier coach, 7 sleeper class coaches, and 4 general second class coaches. Reservation bookings for the train will begin from Thursday.
