A new premium train starts between Patna Junction and Bangalore Cantt Railway Station on 19th February, 2015. Mr. Suresh Prabhak Prabhu had already flagged off the train on 29th January, 2015 by remote from Bangalore in presence of Shri Manoj Sinha, State Minister for Railways and Shri Dharmendra Pradhan and other dignitaries. The Railways will run 12 premium trains between Patna and Bangalore Cantonment from February 19 to March 29. The premium train (number 22353) will depart from Patna on every Thursday between February 19 and March 26 at 11:30 PM and reach Bangalore Cantonment on Saturday (on third day) at 6:55 PM. The train will facilitate passengers from Nagpur as it will cross the city on Friday at 7:30 PM, a release from Nagpur division of Central Railway, said today.
Similarly, premium train (number 22354) will depart from Bangalore on every Sunday between February 22 and March 29 at 3:30 PM and will arrive at Patna (on day three) on Tuesday at 9:45 AM. It will reach Nagpur at 1:30 PM on Mondays. The train will halt at Cheuki, Jabalpur, Nagpur, Vijaywada and Chennai Central in both directions, it said. The 16-coach train includes two 2AC, four 3AC, seven SL, a pantry car and two SLRs.
