The East Central Railway has introduced three pairs of passenger trains between Saharasa and Purnea. With the conversion of Banmankhi - Purnea rail line into BG (Broad Gauge), the route has been inaugurated on 10th June, 2016, by running a special train at 10:30 AM. From 11th June 2016 three pairs of trains with train nos 55533/55534, 55553 / 55554 and 55555/55556 will run between Saharsa and Purnea. The detailed schedule (Time-Table) of three pairs of trains is given below:
